Daylight Productions released its first video production in 1984. Since then a number of high quality documentary style productions have been released to the discerning home video consumer first on VHS tape and now on DVD.

Founded by Stan McInturf, Daylight Productions was a long time dream that became reality. With a long history in the film and television business starting in 1968 as a news cameraman, Mr. McInturf has since produced many forms of television including documentaries, commercials, specialty projects in the US and around the world.

With a keen interest in railroading many of the specialty videos produced by Daylight Productions over the years have focused on the operation and history of trains/railroading in the US. Many hours of historic railroading footage shot on film/video exist in the library of Daylight Productions and will be edited and released in the next few years.

Currently Daylight Productions is based in Auburn, CA a suburb of Sacramento the State Capitol in Northern California. Daylight Productions is committed to “Entertainment Excellence” in all aspects of film and video production. “It’s all about the story”.
